BIG FAT ELEPHANT
Founded in 2021 with the release of ‘Ceremony’ (cover of Joy Division / New Order), Big Fat Elephant is lead by singer, song-writer and No Miracles founder Alexander Di Pietro (MoonJelly) and co-produced with multi-instrumentalist and drummer Vidusha Nanayaka Yashasvi (MusicVid).
Big Fat Elephant’s first EP titled ‘SPLIT! EP’ was released mid-2025, titled as a goof on the then-relevant re-occuring theme of ‘splitting’ of line-ups, relationships, songs, royalties (ha!) and pocket financing.
Based in Melbourne, Australia – Big Fat Elephant’s inspirations come from influential UK / US acts such as Black Midi, Thirteen-era Blur, Primus, Radiohead, Battles & Yussef Dayes.
